Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with the Montessori Golden Beads task cards and booklets (a fun alternative to worksheets). Doing big operations with Montessori’s version of the Base Ten Blocks is the perfect way to develop concentration and a deep understanding of place value. You get large task cards , small task cards , and differentiated recording booklets . Everything is easy to prepare, engaging, and includes a control of error.

Lower elementary (and even some kindergarten) students can use the cards (small or large) to work with the materials and self-correct, and they can record their answers in the booklets. This will help them keep track of which questions they have completed and it's more fun than recording in a notebook or on a worksheet.

The large cards are 8.5" x 11." Yes, a full letter size paper! The small cards are 5.5" x 4.25." As for the booklets, each recording booklet has three different versions to help you differentiate for the children in your class. Each resource (small cards, large cards, and booklets) has the same questions so you can use the material for all of your students, no matter their level! Place value is so important for a good mathematical foundation. Do your Lower Elementary students get enough practice with the Golden Bead material? Do they have a hard time moving from a concrete understanding of numbers to the more abstract written form? Save yourself some time and aggravation with these printable booklets. Each booklet increases in difficulty and can be used alongside the Montessori Golden Beads (or Base Ten Blocks) to build better number sense and help students make the connection between the beads and place value.

**This product has been updated and may vary slightly from what you see in the photos. See the PREVIEWS to know exactly what you will get.**

This bundle includes the large and small versions of the booklets. Both booklets have the same problems, but the large version has more scaffolding for beginners and the small version is appropriate for more advanced learners.

You can sample (for free!) the first booklet in this version and in the smaller version to see if they will work for you.

Here are some reasons this resource will make things easier for you in the classroom:

1. The booklets are super easy to make and instructions are included.
2. You get 12 large booklets and 12 small booklets (of increasing difficulty) . They start with teaching the unit beads and end with numbers into the thousands.
