These Valentine's Day themed addition number bond centers are great for practicing addition within 10. These kindergarten math centers provide practice for addition math facts, by having students find the sum or missing addend. Students will practice adding within 10 and practice decomposing numbers up to 5 in these math centers.

Directions: Use these sheets to help students practice subitizing and array identification of objects. Subitizing is the ability to instantly and accurately recognize groups of objects between one and three items. Array identification refers to the mental counting of objects and can be assessed with arrays containing four to seven objects. These sheets should be flashed in front of a student for less than 1 second, and the student should be able to recognize the amount of objects.
