Creating a how-to writing guide on catching a gingerbread man, complete with two types of writing papers (dotted and lined) and a graphic organizer for brainstorming.

First page of the final draft comes in 2 versions. One with the gingerbread man clipart and one without.
Collaborative Art Project- Each student will color one square to create a colorful Gingerbread Man mural
This integrated approach allows participants to not only develop their individual writing and artistic skills but also to experience the power of collaboration and storytelling as a collective activity.
