Love and Compassion Yoga Sequence for Tweens/Teens
By Lara Hocheiser
Teaching your kids love and compassion is a gift that keeps giving.
Compassion teaches us about empathy and can improve our relationships with ourselves and others. Through that, children can build character and self-confidence. Fostering compassion in children is also one of the best ways to prevent bullying. With compassion, kids decision-making will be rooted in a deep, caring ethic.
How can we teach our kids about compassion?
Compassion is a quality that children can learn over time and through practice. We developed three lesson plans so your young yogis can foster love and compassion in three ways:
Lesson Plans for Teachers and Parents
In our Educator’s edition, we provide 3 easy-to-follow curriculums for teachers, parents, and anyone else that works with tweens/teens. Each lesson plan is formatted to teach an entire class, including discussion prompts, group activities, yoga movement, guided relaxations, crafts, and coloring pages.
Printable Heart-opening Yoga Cards
Learn six (6) yoga poses with our Love and Compassion Yoga Cards. Written for kids, each card comes with easy-to-follow illustrations and step-by-step instructions. Use the yoga deck to teach a full sequence, learn individual poses, play games, or leave the cards in your peace corner when kids want a moment.

Reloading Data log|Printable|Detailed Load Tracker |Advanced Reloading
By EduTeachers Toolbox
A reloading data log ?????????? plays a critical role in assisting both instructors and learners in the field of firearms and ammunition reloading. Here's how:
Accuracy and Consistency: Reloading data logs provide a systematic way to record specific details about each reloading session. This includes details like bullet type, powder charge, primer, cartridge case, overall length, and more. Such accurate and consistent data is vital for both learners and instructors to ensure safety, performance, and repeatability in reloading ammunition.
Safety and Compliance: Maintaining a detailed log helps ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Instructors can emphasize the importance of adhering to established reloading recipes and safety guidelines. Learners can use the log to double-check their work against established data, ensuring they are following safe practices.
Troubleshooting and Improvement: If a learner encounters issues with their reloaded ammunition, a log becomes an invaluable tool for troubleshooting. Instructors can review the data to identify potential problems, such as inconsistent loads or deviations from recommended specifications. This enables targeted improvements and adjustments in the reloading process.
Learning and Progress Tracking: For learners, the reloading log serves as a learning tool. It allows them to see their progress over time, noting which combinations of components yield the best results in terms of accuracy and performance. Instructors can review these logs to provide guidance and constructive feedback.
Documentation and Reference: A reloading log acts as a comprehensive documentation of the reloading process. Instructors can use these logs as teaching aids for future classes, showcasing examples of proper record-keeping and emphasizing the importance of meticulous attention to detail.
Legal and Liability Considerations: In some cases, especially for commercial reloaders or instructors, maintaining detailed reloading logs can serve as a legal protection. In the event of an incident, having thorough records can demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols and industry best practices.
Customization and Optimization: Over time, the data log can become a repository of information that allows for fine-tuning and customization of loads. Both instructors and learners can analyze the data to optimize loads for specific firearms, shooting styles, or conditions.
In summary, reloading data logs are invaluable tools that support safe practices, continual learning, and improvement in the art of ammunition reloading. They serve as a reference point, aid troubleshooting, and contribute to a culture of precision, safety, and expertise among both instructors and learners.

Families Counseling Activities - Parent and Family Changes Self-care
By All Therapy Resources
This is a creative activity to help foster connection and create a sense of unity and “togetherness” within the family. Learning healthy self-care habits can start at an early age and the good news? It’s never too late to start learning about the importance of taking care of yourself. From making yourself a hot chocolate, running a bath or even dancing to your favourite singer. These can all be positive and healthy self-care habits.
The important thing to remember is what is self-care for you might NOT be self-care for someone else. Self-care is about meeting your needs. As a family however, it is important to consider the needs and preferences of the whole family as well so you can create a menu of options that as a family you can do “together”.
In this activity you will be creating your “family togetherness tea”. A cup full of self-care habits and strategies that as a family create a stronger bond of love and unity.
All family members are encouraged to participate and provide valuable contribution by expressing their self-care needs. Collectively the family creates some go-to self-care strategies to help strengthen the family.
Although not all self-care strategies will be everyone's “cup of tea” (so to speak) being more aware of everyone's needs, likes and preferences can provide a lot of insights and allow for opportunities for connection and communication, family cohesion and togetherness.
