In the French classroom, it can be difficult to find new and engaging ways to grab the attention of our students without falling back on the old standards of 'les mains sur la tete...'

Make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room by Considering these multilingual Vegetables Vocabulary labels!

Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 32 words for a total of 8 pages. Check out the preview of the first 4. They each feature the English word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. How do you keep track of your student's birthdays? I print and laminate these cards, use a wet-erase marker or a chalk marker, and write the date of the student's birthday and the student's name. I then post them on a wall in my classroom. The students love looking at the month and seeing whose birthday is coming up. When the year is over - just wipe them with a wet paper towel or baby wipe and they are ready to go for next year!

French pronouns are the foundation for communication. This resource is great for a quick reference for students. Each poster (8.5x11) is designed to help students easily access and understand common verbs, enhancing their language learning experience.

There are TWO sets of the same cards with pictures.

1. French and English with pictures in color
2. French and English with pictures in black and white

There are also pronouns without pictures with the French and English. They are on horizontal strips. This is great if you have less wall space OR to transition away from the visual/pictorial cues. These horizontal strips are in color as well as black and white.

Also, I have included instructions for how to print the posters so that they are flash card size.

Task: Students are going to do a one page writing to introduce yourself. They are going to use three adjectives to describe themselves and write one complete sentence to tell us what they want to be when they grow up. Then they are going to draw portraits of themselves.
