Arthur's Thanksgiving is a great book to read for students to learn about Thanksgiving and the traditions that can be followed with this holiday, students will also learn how plays are set up, how to work together with peers, and how to solve problems. Students are presented with a variety of comprehension questions based on what happens in the book, Arthur's Thanksgiving. Students can answer these questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished.

This resource includes 10 St. Patrick's Day themed writing prompts that would be best suited toward upper elementary or earlier middle schoolers.
