ESL Pre-Primer - Third Grade Sight Words Bundle Workbook for Newcomers

In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary word for the 40 pre-primer sight words, 52 primer sight words presented, 41 first-grade sight words presented, 46 second-grade sight words, and 41 third-grade sight words presented.

This product can be used with students who are learning English. It can serve as an in class practice, review, or quiz.

Students will initially write each vocabulary word in their native language after learning the English word and being shown a picture. At the end of each sight words section (pre-primer, primer, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade sight words), students will have the opportunity to choose 11 sight words and make up a sentence using each one.

In the second section of each sight words section, there is a sight word review that requires students to write the English word and the word in the student's native language based on the picture and sentence provided for each sight word

In the third section of each sight words section, there is a sight words review that requires students to make up a sentence for each sight word (pre-primer, primer, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade sight words) learned in their native language.

In the fourth section of each sight words section, students will then be required to make up a sentence using each sight word in English.

Word Family Flower Craft or Literacy Center Short Vowel Bundle

Practice identifying and reading short vowel word family words with this fun flower craftivity. This flower craft can be used to introduce or review CVC and CCVC words in short vowel word families.

What is Included:

One flower template for identifying short vowel words
One flower template for reading and matching short vowel words to pictures.

This resource includes two word family flower templates per packet. Each craft has six different petals with words and pictures to help introduce or review each word family. Use during the spring time to create a fun themed bulletin board or anytime for a quick and fun activity for students who like to complete hands on activities and crafts.

There are two ways to use this product:

Simple print this paper, allow the students to color, cut out and glue into a flower on colored construction paper.
Print the flower pattern onto colored card stock, cut and laminate. These flowers can be used in center activities. Combine this with flowers of other word families to have students sort by word families.
