Celebrate February Leap Day of School with a 29 second challenge! Students will love completing each activity as many times as they can in 29 seconds. Use these challenges as a no-prep Leap Day party game, brain break, math activity, icebreaker or morning meeting activity. This creative Line Movement Painting Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to draw 5-10 lines with different movements. After drawing these lines, students outlined them with a crayon. Students painted each section with a different color of watercolor paints. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for students to get better with their painting skills. Students are responsible for two separate artworks for this assignment. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.
