With 24 memory games available in 6 different thrilling modes, the learning possibilities are endless:
1. Find the Same Picture - Three diverse decks featuring Halloween symbols, candies, and pumpkins. Match identical pictures to exercise visual recognition skills.
2. Find the Word - In the Halloween Symbols deck, challenge students to associate words with corresponding pictures, boosting their vocabulary and language comprehension.
3. Match the Pumpkins - In the pumpkins deck, match numbers 1 to 9 with cards displaying 1 to 9 pumpkins. This mode reinforces numerical recognition and counting proficiency.
Keep Score in Style:
Incorporate healthy competition and teamwork by dividing students into different teams. Our updated version features four boxes at the bottom of the slide, each representing a team. Click on the counters to keep track of scores, adding an exciting element to the game.
Shuffle the Cards for Endless Fun:
To ensure a unique experience every time you play, we've included a handy shuffle button in the bottom left corner. Click it to rearrange the cards, providing a fresh challenge for each round. If by chance the cards seem familiar, simply click the button again for a new layout.
Note: Enabling Macros for Enhanced Functionality
To fully enjoy the interactive features, including the shuffle function, make sure to enable Macros when prompted upon opening the PowerPoint Show. This will allow seamless gameplay and maximum enjoyment.

Valentine Memory Game with counters

Celebrate Valentine's Day with your students and enhance their reading, number recognition, and counting skills while keeping their memory sharp with our classic memory card game!
This digital resource offers 24 memory games in 6 engaging game modes:
- Find the Same Picture: Choose from 3 different decks, featuring Valentine symbols, chocolate candies, and hearts.
- Find the Word: Practice vocabulary by matching the word to the corresponding picture in the Valentine symbols and chocolate candies decks.
- Match the Heart Cards: Enjoy a unique challenge in the hearts deck by pairing numbers 1 to 9 in a heart with cards displaying 1 to 9 hearts.
For added convenience, we have included four boxes at the bottom of the slide, one for each team. Easily keep score by clicking on the counters.
To ensure variety, there is a shuffle button on the bottom left corner that randomizes the cards, so you never play the same game twice. If it leads you to the same set with the same card arrangement, simply click the button again.
Please note that this is a PowerPoint Show with enabled Macros, allowing the cards to be shuffled effectively. Be sure to enable content when prompted after opening the file for this function to work smoothly.
If you prefer not to enable Macros, don't worry! You can manually choose the set you want to play from the first slide (Home Page) instead of shuffling the cards.

Fall adapted books covering a pumpkin mini unit, counting #1-10, Fall, & Thanksgiving. This bundle includes 13 adapted books & extension activities (*extension activities only in the mini unit). A bit of prep is required, however they can be used year after year. I have always found adapted books with interactive pieces something that all my kiddos enjoy.
What is included:
Pumpkin Mini Unit
Book 1: Visiting a Pumpkin patch
Introduce vocabulary related to a pumpkin patch then read a story. The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again & is adapted to support student learning.Students will read a story about visiting a pumpkin patch. Followup with a story map, ordering by size, sorting by size & clip cards
Book 2: How to carve a jack-o-lantern
Introduce vocabulary related to carving a jack-o-lantern then read the story. The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again & is adapted to support student learning. Follow up by completing steps to carve a pumpkin, designing a pumpkin art & writing prompts.
Fall Counting #1-10

Book 1: Leaves are Falling
Students will listen to a short story about fall days & what we can expect during this season. An adorable bear ends our short story raking and playing in the colorful fall leaves. This story is colorful.
Book 2: Colorful Fall
Students will listen to a story with repetitive text ("I see a") and identify the item. The items are focused on fall & 8 different colors. An excellent book for practicing color recognition.
Book 3: Fun in the Fall
A variety of activities are represented in this book. Students will continue developing high-frequency words with the repetitive text "In the fall, I like to." Activities include hiking, school, bake sale, football, picking apples, picking pumpkins, carving pumpkins & a bond fire with smores.
Book 4: Fall Clothing
This book has students selecting the correct items of clothing. This book is Each page has "I want to," followed by "so I need." For example, students will select sunny days, swimming, and gardening items.
Thanksgiving
Book 1: Thanksgiving Day Parade
Students will listen to a short story about parade. The book has colorful pictures (but easy on that printer!) showing students what they can expect to see. They will see a big city, news reporters, big balloons, floats, bands & end the parade with you know who...Santa!
Book 2: Yummy Food
This story uses a repetitive text ("I like") and identifies the food. Traditional Thanksgiving foods are included: pumpkin pie, stuffing, apple pie, turkey, cranberry jelly, mashed potatoes, & dinner rolls
Book 3: I am Thankful
A variety of activities are represented in this book. What might you be thankful for? Pets, teachers, family, favorite foods, games, homes and birthdays.

Counting 1-20 with adapted books special education

This bundle includes rainbow sets of counting books 1-10 & 1-20. Adapted books require some prep prior but once they are made use again and again. Students will count blocks, ten frames, parrots & match numbers 1-20. Use the interactive pieces to keep students engaged in learning.
Expand these books by using real materials to count with the books, use the numbers to practice number order / counting & so much more. My kids always enjoy using adapted books - good for all ages and skill levels.
