The teen numbers can be tricky, but the Montessori Math approach can help! If you love the Montessori Teen Boards you’ll also love these math booklets as a fun extension activity. Students will get a lot of practice making and comparing teen numbers with these 8 easy to prep booklets. Classroom teachers can make a whole class set in no time, and homeschoolers, there’s a special version for you so you only have to make one copy of each booklet. 

Each booklet increases in difficulty and can be used with the Teen Boards and the Montessori Bead Stair to introduce and reinforce numbers 11–19. Note that number 10 is addressed in the Golden Bead Booklets and 0–9 are introduced in the Colored Bead Stair Booklets.

Introduce your Kindergarten or Lower Elementary students to numeral and quantity with the Montessori Bead Stair (also called the Short Bead Stair). The booklets will save you time and will reinforce one to one correspondence as students count and color the bead bars from one to nine and 11–19. Number 10 is addressed in the Golden Bead Booklets.
