This dinosaur file has two Power Points and you can also use them as flashcards to print. Students will be able to show prior knowledge using pictures and also learn about dinosaur facts they didn't already know with created sentences. You can also write these sentences on sentence strips to match to pictures. This is great for any Elementary classroom or ESL class. You can use many ESL strategies to teach these dinosaur facts. The second part is about dinosaur body parts using the T Rex, Stegosaurus, and Anklysaurus. You can add to and remove slides as you feel necessary.

Help students identify the missing number in a set of three numbers 0-20. The box disappears on click to reveal the correct number. All sets of numbers are counting by 1's.

I created this PowerPoint to help students practice identifying quantities on sight as they are expected to be able to do this on the DIBELS Early Numeracy Basic Quantity Discrimination test. Quantities 1-5 are introduced and then practiced. Next, quantities 6-10 are introduced and practiced. Finally, quantities 1-10 are practiced. The cars are fun and most students catch on quickly.

These are basic 2 and 3 phoneme Elkonin boxes. I say a word and the students practice saying the sounds in the word while the circles drop down into the box. You could also say the sounds and have the students guess the word. Sometimes we think of what letter makes the sound and write it in the box. Circles drop on click into the box. For your kindergarten or pre-K kids, here's a short exercise for them called "Pop(sicle Stick) Quiz"!

Students will have a 3 or 4 popsicle sticks arranged on the floor and will have to spell out the range of musical example they hear with the sticks in their possession.

With 9 musical examples, they will either arrange their sticks on the floor as an "H" for High or an "L" for Low

After the students have spelled out their answer for all to see, advance the slide and reveal the answer!

I created these presentation slides to go along with the Level A Connecting Math Concepts presentation book so that all students could see the pictures.

I read the teacher instructions in the presentation book as I present the slides.

Students will enjoy an ice cream treat power presentation as they learn to count by 10's up to 120. Students will follow up the presentation with a cute art activity. They will sequence and put together an ice cream treat necklace to practice counting by 10's. This activity meets Common Core Standards K.CC.A.1 and 1.NBT.A.1. The power point ends with an I can statement to address the Common Core.
