Placing an emphasis on social emotional learning will help equip your students with skills to become better learners and ultimately better people. This curriculum has been designed with children aged 3 to 4 years old in mind, and contains 60 games, drawing activities and crafts to engage learners**.**
Play and Purposes Feelings unit focuses on:

Let's Be Friends Board Game is a fun and engaging board game designed for young children in preschool and kindergarten. This exciting game teaches valuable lessons about kindness, teamwork, and empathy while promoting social skills in a playful, interactive way.
This game is a part of the larger Play and Purpose Friendship and Feelings curriculum for Kindergarten. It gives a sample of the interactive activities found in the curriculum, which can be used for an individual child, a small group of children or the whole class depending on the needs of the group. Placing an emphasis on social emotional learning will help equip your students with skills to become better learners and ultimately better people. This learning unit has been designed with children aged 3 to 4 years old in mind, and contains 10 games, drawing activities and crafts to engage learners**.**
Play and Purposes Feelings unit focuses on:
- Using picture books to share real life examples of how we can understand and express our emotions
- Practicing expressing feelings individually, in pairs, small groups, and as a whole class
- Learning about feelings, identifying them, and expressing them through playing games, writing, and creative expression
The 10 lessons included in this unit include 5 activity types:
- Read and React Group Lessons
- Play in a Small Group
- Read and Respond Drawing
- Let’s Play All Together
- Craft and Create
The 2 week unit focuses on anger and what feelings look like in those around us. Many lessons contain ways to scaffold the learning to your students and allow for the most learning to take place as possible!
