Directions: Use these sheets to help students practice subitizing and array identification of objects. Subitizing is the ability to instantly and accurately recognize groups of objects between one and three items. Array identification refers to the mental counting of objects and can be assessed with arrays containing four to seven objects. Students will love creating these adorable Valentine crafts! These are one-page crafts using simple shapes and thicker lines making it easier for little hands to cut. Each craft has 2-8 shapes to color, cut out, and put together given model using simple shapes. After making their craft, students can write about it! Perfect for pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade centers, as well as OT sessions, groups, homeschool lessons, and fun home activity.
