Are you looking for a fun activity to help build collaboration skills while having some FUN? Need a Fun Friday activity as your students lose their engagement through the week? Need an activity with very little prep? Looking for something digital? Then look no further!

Mystery At The Theme Park is a video based Escape Room activity that is played with a YouTube Video (approximately 20 minutes) and answers are submitted on a Google Form. Students will have to watch the video, listen to the story, and look at pictures to find clues to escape from the Theme Park in time. There are many different ways that you could play this game whether it is as a full class and you try to beat the clock, or in small groups where students can work together to solve the puzzles! The links are in the PDF that you will get when you download this resources and all instructions to set up will be there.

The Prep to play this Escape Room is minimal-all you need is the video link and a copy of the Google Form for each group. I played this game with my Grade 6/7 class online and they LOVED it. I had students who were usually pretty quiet online take over and shine!

Students will be required to identify how these children are feelings. on the last slide is a blank human body image, where students can draw how they are feeling.

Students will identify and express a variety of feelings, demonstrate the use of I-messages to express feelings honestly and effectively, and identify the words that are commonly used in I-messages. an I-message/statements sheet for students to fill out is included in this product, and a list of coping skills is provided to share with students. Students are also able to add onto the list of coping strategies provided. A coping skill bookmark template is included for students to draw/write down coping skills on a bookmark that they can look at in times of feeling stressed/upset. Building trust activity ideas are provided in this product for students to build trust with others they know well, tips for students to interact with school counselors, social workers, and school psychologists are also included in this product. Students will learn who to trust and how they can trust them. Students are also provided with the opportunity to draw who they trust or write down their names as well.
