You can choose to hand out these cards during the Meet the Teacher Open House to connect with students, or you can send them in the mail to invite students to the Teacher Meet and Greet or welcome them to your class. There is also a digital option that you could email to students and families as a paperless option.
Choose from 8 different designs, color or black and white printing, and 4 sizing options. Add a personal touch by customizing each card with names using the editable option in PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Print these cards easily on your home computer. They are formatted to fit standard 8.5" x 11" paper. For best results, use cardstock or high-quality paper.

Ways to use:
- Meet the Teacher Event Invitations: Send personalized postcards to each student before the school year begins, inviting them and their families to a "Meet the Teacher" event. This allows students to get to know their new teacher in a relaxed and friendly setting.
- Personalized Message: Leave a blank space on the back of the card for a handwritten note. Take a moment to write a short, encouraging message to each student. Mention how excited you are to have them in your class and share a positive expectation for the upcoming year.

AICE Marine Science Sampling Strategies and Data analysis

- Describing a systematic method to investigate the abundance of organisms: Guide students through the process of designing and implementing systematic sampling techniques in marine environments.
- Capture-mark-recapture techniques: Help students grasp the capture-mark-recapture method and its application in estimating population sizes using the Lincoln Index.
- Simpson's index of diversity: Challenge students to calculate and interpret diversity indices, enhancing their ability to assess and compare biodiversity in different ecosystems.
- Calculating mean/average: Provide practice in calculating means/averages, a fundamental skill in data interpretation.
- Comparing two ecosystems' diversity indices: Encourage students to compare the biodiversity of different ecosystems and draw meaningful conclusions from their analyses.
I introduce these concepts at the beginning of the year as part of Chapter 0: Practical Skills, and I revisit them when covering Chapter 4: Classification and Biodiversity. Since these topics are assessed in the Paper 2 exam, I make it a priority to expose my students to them multiple times throughout the course, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident in their understanding.

Deaf Education - Writing Characters, Setting, and Plot Ideas

As our students are completing written assignments, sometimes coming up with characters, a setting, and a plot is difficult. With this product students are provided with a lengthy list of female names, male names, and gender neutral names to choose from, possible setting ideas that also include words that focus on the time of day, time of year, days of the week, and months. This packet also provided plot ideas for a variety of writing assignments such as story ideas about life, science fiction, adventure, mystery, fantasy, funny stories, friendship, superhero, family, and animal story ideas. Students do not have to use the examples provided or even the characters names, but it does provide them with a boost of confidence to pick their own topic.

Social Story Role Playing Scenario Cards

This product includes 11 social story role-playing cards. For each card provided, students can write their answers independently, with a partner, or in small groups. Students will then be provided with a picture of each role-playing card where they will be required to role-play what is happening in the picture. There are also a variety of questions asked that relate with each role-playing card. At the end of the product, there are 11 picture cards that can be cut-out. Students can make up their own questions, role-play what is happening in the picture, discuss what is wrong about the picture card, write a story about the role-playing picture card that they are provided or choose, etc.
