These adapted health notes and review cover the following topics:
Mental and Emotional Health: Mental and emotional health - the different parts of health, total health, physical health, mental and emotional health, family and social health, health goals, risky behavior, healthful behaviors, life skills - healthful actions to learn and improve and maintain health, and practicing healthful behaviors. Stress: Dealing with stress - stress, stressor, and attitude towards stress - way of thinking, acting, and feeling. Body's reaction to stress - heart beating fast, muscles getting tense, breathing faster, hands getting moist, and mouth getting dry. Ways to manage stress - identify the signs of stress, identify the causes of stress, do something about the causes of stress, and take action to reduce the harmful effects of stress.
Relationships: Respect, examples of showing respect, what is respect?, what is a relationship? - the different kinds of relationships between acquaintances, friends, close friends, and best friends, using good communication skills, communicating, communicating in a healthful way, using self-control, and reasons to maintain self-control
