Every time a child exhibits a desired behavior, you use a paper punch to make a hole in the card. When all of the holes in the card are punched, the child gets a reward. A great way to end the school year or summer camp program is by passing out these adorable We Need S'More (Parents, Volunteers, or Kids) Like You. These come in a color version or black and white version.

How do I use it?

• Simply choose your template
• Ask students to share why they love their special someone OR what makes them the best
• Add a text box to the template to type in student responses. I used the font HelloHappy by Hello Literacy which can be downloaded for free personal use HERE
• Add student photo to lower right hand corner. I chose to do a photo "quick edit" in PowerPoint and chose a round edge to look like a seal
• Print certificate
• Allow students to write their special someone's name on the line provided or what they call them "i.e. Daddy, Pop, Abba, etc."
• Allow students to write their name on the "presented by" line
• Students can then color in their certificates (letters, frames, and whatever they want)! I suggest using colored pencils for the smaller spaces
• Suggestion: Onces complete, add to a frame for an elevated look and to make it a forever keepsake! If this is too costly, laminate them for long term preservation!

You can change the font to whatever you prefer - I know I have favorites! The font used in the templates is a free font: Before the Rainbow font is used and can be downloaded for free (personal use only) by clicking on the link. You will need to set up a free account.

The Sun Smile Cards are designed to fit on 8.5" x 11" paper and can be reduced at the time of printing if needed or can be printed 2 or 4 per page using your printer's settings. If A4 size is needed then you can adjust the template to fit A4 paper size at the time of printing. Border-free printing will depend on your printer's capability and settings.

These Sun Smile Thank You Cards are designed to be printed on one side. You can add a logo on the back to make them unique and there is an insert if you (or your class) want to write and then glue inside (or tie with a ribbon) or add a handwritten note or letter inside.

Help students identify their strengths with this free superpower-themed self-affirmation activity for kids.  Build student confidence, identify students' strengths, break the ice with new students, or use them as a back-to-school activity....the possibilities are endless with these superpower kablams!

Encourage students to draw or write to showcase their own superpowers. Use these kablams to help your students express what makes them super! Students write or draw in the middle of the kablam to express their own super-human superpowers!

Anything can be a superpower, challenge your students to think about what their unique superpowers are and how they can use those superpowers in their daily lives.

Ask students, “What do you like? Can you describe what you are good at doing? What are your super-human superpowers?”

Stress to students that we are talking about their real-life superpowers. We don’t want to hear about how they can flip cars or shoot ice out of their hands, we want to know about the real-life human superpowers they have! We want to know that they are super helpers, kind to others, super at math, or great at gaming. Whatever their best skills may be, we want to know the real-life skills that make them super?

Encourage students to think about how to tie their superpower into future career options. Challenge students to think about careers that would be a good fit based on their identified superpowers and skills.

Does your student like gaming? Awesome! Maybe one day they will write the code that develops the games.

Do they like helping others? Maybe they’ll be a nurse or teacher!
