♣ Print out 1 mystery picture per student.

♣ Students cut up the answer tiles and then place them on the correct question tiles to match the words with the definitions.

♣ They can glue the question tiles onto the answer tiles and color the picture too.

Valentine's Day Sudoku

♣ Print out 1 Valentine's Day sudoku per student.

♣ Students cut off the right side of the sheet along the dotted line and cut out the missing sudoku pictures. They glue them into the sudoku grid so that all 6 Valentine's Day words appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame.

♣ Each Valentine's Day word must appear in each row, column and 2x3 frame only once.

♣ Check with the whole class - students have to name in English all pictures in the given row, column or 2x3 frame.

Students will learn the different Valentine's Day vocabulary words and each word's sign. Students will also learn the difference between the Valentine's Day vocabulary words and will see how they are used in sentences. Pictures for each of the Valentine's Day vocabulary words are provided to help students understand the different kinds of Valentine's Day vocabulary words presented.

In the first section of this product, students will be provided with 42 Valentine's Day vocabulary words, a dictionary that includes a sentence using each Valentine's Day vocabulary word, a sign for each Valentine's Day vocabulary word, and a picture that helps to explain each sentence given for each Valentine's Day vocabulary word.

Directions: Use these sheets to help students practice subitizing and array identification of objects. Subitizing is the ability to instantly and accurately recognize groups of objects between one and three items. Array identification refers to the mental counting of objects and can be assessed with arrays containing four to seven objects. These sheets should be flashed in front of a student for less than 1 second, and the student should be able to recognize the amount of objects.

These heart themed letter and number cards and puzzles are a great Valentine's Day activity for preschool and kindergarten students. Students can practice letter and number recognition by matching capital and lowercase letters and matching numbers and number words up to 20.

What is Included:

• Alphabet cards for capital and lowercase letters

• 2 piece alphabet puzzles that match capital and lowercase letters

Students will love the hands on activities in this resource. There are a variety of different games and activities that students can complete independently or with a partner.

Ways to Use the Cards:

• Matching Game: Match capital and lowercase letters or numbers to the number words.
• Fishing Game: Attach a paper clip to the card and use a magnetic fishing pole to "catch" the letters or numbers.
• Salt/Sand Tray: Use these cards as a model to show students what to write in the sand.
• Letter or Number Hunts: Have students find the letters or numbers that you have hidden around the room.
• ABC Order or Number Order: Have students place letters or numbers in the correct order.
• Pocket Chart Game: Place the cards into a pocket chart and hide a picture behind one of the cards. Have students guess which card the hidden picture is behind.

With a wide variety of uses, these cards will allow students to be engaged with learning their letters and numbers, as well as learning number words and practice counting.

In this product, students will learn the English words for the 42 different Valentine's Day vocabulary words presented in this product.

Students will learn the different Valentine's Day vocabulary words. Students will also learn the difference between the Valentine's Day vocabulary words and will see how they are used in sentences. Pictures for each of the Valentine's Day vocabulary words are provided to help students understand the different kinds of Valentine's Day vocabulary words presented.

In the first section of this product, students will be provided with 42 Valentine's Day vocabulary words, a dictionary that includes a sentence using each Valentine's Day vocabulary word, and a picture that helps to explain each sentence given for each Valentine's Day vocabulary word.

In the second section of this product, students will be provided with a sentence, and a picture that explains each sentence provided. Students will write each Valentine's Day vocabulary word on the line provided. Students will be required to choose 11 Valentine's Day vocabulary words and make up a sentence using each one.

In the third section of this product, students will use the Valentine's Day vocabulary word provided along with a picture that can help support a sentence. Students will make up a sentence for each Valentine's Day vocabulary word.

Directions: Use these sheets to help students practice subitizing and array identification of objects. Subitizing is the ability to instantly and accurately recognize groups of objects between one and three items. Array identification refers to the mental counting of objects and can be assessed with arrays containing four to seven objects. These sheets should be flashed in front of a student for less than 1 second, and the student should be able to recognize the amount of objects.
