BUNDLE End of Year Activities and Games for Middle School English

WRITING/DISCUSSION REFLECTION ACTIVITY
In this no prep SEL activity, students reflect on times they persevered, their friendships, overcoming hardship, what they learned about themselves, grit, and other topics. In a reflect and share manner of participation, students will participate in small discussion groups, write about their experiences, and take a fun walk down memory lane as they complete the activity with an engaging Top 10 list.
This activity can be completed in 1 class with homework, expanded over 2 classes, or completed during the last 10 minutes of several classes. Other options include selecting only one set of questions on which students can reflect.
CATEGORIES BRAINSTORMING GAME
This fun brainstorming and reflection activity is a perfect way to have your students wrap up the school year on a positive note. It can be played individually or in groups for 15 minutes or the entire class time. Students will recall their experiences, activities, things they learned, and fun they had with friends. This is an engaging and team-bonding activity that will have everyone participating.

- What is one thing you enjoyed doing outside of class that starts with the letter….L?
- Name something you did in the fall that starts with the letter….C?
- Name something that made you laugh that begins with the letter...E?
