Day and Night Time Sky, Cut-And-Paste, Venn Diagram, Writing, Kindergarten-1st

Day Time and Night Time Sky~Students will cut and paste pictures they see during the day and at night on to a Venn Diagram and write their information onto recording sheets. The recording sheets have primary and secondary lines to best accommodate your student's needs. You will also receive a simple art activity in which students will draw pictures of things they see and do during the day or night around a sun and a moon. Students can cut out these simple shapes and fold on the dotted lines to create a 3 Dimensional effect.

Science Experiment -What Melts In The Sun?-Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st

Are you looking for a fun science experiment to do this summer? Students will discover what melts in the sun in this simple experiment in which items are placed on a muffin tin or cookie sheet and placed in the sun. Students will record their predictions and results on recording sheets and discuss their findings. Students will design and build a model of a structure that will reduce the warming effect of sunlight on an area. A recording sheet for students to draw their structure and tell about it is included.

A "Facts About the Sun" handout is included which is loaded with information about the sun. You will receive an easy art activity to show the rotation of the earth around the sun. You will also receive a KWL chart with lines and no lines to fill out and another worksheet for students to fill out as they learn fun facts about the sun.

2022***You can now use this product digitally in Google Classroom or print out worksheets to use in your class.***

This meets Next Generation Science standards K-PS1-1 and KPS3-1 and K-PS3-2

There are recording sheets for either 9 or 12 items depending on the availability of items you can find in your classroom or to differentiate this activity to best meet the needs of your students.

Are you looking for an easy way to explain facts about the moon and the moon phases? Students are naturally curious about the moon. These high-interest, low prep activities will explain the moon and the moon phases in a way in which students can easily make connections and understand. You can also use this as a digital resource for your students in Google Classroom for remote learning. As students learn about the phases of the moon they can follow up with this wide variety of differentiated activities.

This Moon Product includes the following:

  1. Cut and paste Phases of the moon activity (the digital version has moveable pieces and audio)
  2. Draw in phases of the moon
  3. Write in phases of the moon
  4. Students can create their own monthly calendar by shading the moon as it appears in the sky each evening.
