Original Prompt

Reptile WebQuest where students need to explore different websites to learn about reptiles, their evolution, characteristics, and why they are important in ecosystems.

This WebQuest is designed to explore the evolutionary world of reptiles, focusing on their history, anatomical and physiological characteristics, and ecological importance. It aims to explain the evolutionary lineage of reptiles, identify key traits that define them, and evaluate their roles in global ecosystems. The resource includes background information, guided research prompts, and various activities such as creating an Ecological Impact Report, contrasting major reptile groups, and researching specific adaptations. Students will investigate the evolution of reptiles from their ancestors, their adaptations to dry land, and the current threats they face, culminating in a synthesis of their findings through a Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER) argument.
