This resource aims to help students explore the concept of personal agency by identifying and differentiating between aspects of life they can control, influence, or must accept. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing what contributes to their emotional regulation and personal empowerment. Through reflection, scenario sorting, and group discussions, students will gain a clearer understanding of their own power over situations they face. Activities include class discussions on mental health, the impact of control on anxiety, and a breakdown of personal challenges into categories of control, influence, and acceptance, ultimately guiding them to develop an action plan to enhance their agency.
