Original Prompt

make me a 20 slides ESL powerpoint presentation for b1 level about ordinal numbers first to 50th (with games and real life scenarios) good for 50 minutes

This lesson plan is designed for teachers to introduce ordinal numbers (1st-10th) to B1 ESL learners. The objectives include recognizing and applying ordinal numbers in real-life contexts, participating in interactive games, and engaging in speaking activities. The lesson involves a race simulation activity where students guess positions of runners, helping them understand the practical usage of ordinals in contexts like dates and rankings. Various materials are needed, including numbered cards and props for role-play. The plan also covers the formation, pronunciation, and exceptions of ordinal numbers up to the 50th. Additional activities, like planning a birthday party and ranking athletes, reinforce learning. Common mistakes are highlighted along with corrections, culminating in an exit ticket activity where students create sentences about their lives using ordinal numbers.
