create for me a study guide for 7th graders on 3 lessons 2.1 Adding Algebraic Terms, 2.2 Subtracting Algebraic Terms , and 2.3 Simplifying Algebraic Expressions. The standard is 7.EE.1 Add, subtract, factor, and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients. the study guide should have notes and practice problems for the students

This learning resource focuses on adding, subtracting, and simplifying linear expressions with rational coefficients, aimed at reinforcing key mathematical concepts in algebra. It introduces essential vocabulary such as terms, coefficients, variables, like terms, and unlike terms. The resource includes guided and independent practice problems, designed to help students identify parts of expressions and perform operations with rational numbers. Through worked examples and a clear learning path, students will engage with various exercises that build their understanding of how to manipulate linear expressions and arrive at simplified forms while emphasizing the importance of grouping like terms and performing operations accurately. Mixed practice also offers further opportunities to consolidate learning. A self-assessment checklist provides learners an opportunity to evaluate their grasp of the material.
