The Verb Pattern Dice Game is an engaging educational activity designed to help students practice different verb patterns in a fun and competitive environment. Teams of 3-4 students work together to create sentences based on the verb pattern indicated by a dice roll. The game includes specific rules for various verb patterns, such as using the -ing form as a subject, forming sentences with 'to + infinitive', and more. Teams score points for grammatically correct sentences, with opportunities for bonus points if their sentences relate to a predetermined secret topic. Additional challenges include the chance for other teams to 'steal' points by correcting mistakes. This interactive game encourages creativity, teamwork, and effective use of English verb structures.
