This product is intended to be used in a classroom modeled after Peter Liljedahl’s book Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics. This product is a day’s lesson or two days depending on your class's needs.
Launch Script: Slides 3-5 This is the mini lesson. It should be quick, 5-10 minutes.
Consolidation: Slide 6-7. Wrap up the lesson after tasks. This is like a second mini lesson. Have students gather around and possibly walk the room to show strategies used by classmates.
Notes: Slides 8-9. This page is intended to be printed for students to write on and glue into journals or hole punched for a notebook.
