This product is intended to be used in a classroom modeled after Peter Liljedahl’s book Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics.
Task cards: These can be laminated or paper copy to write on, table scoot, homework, game board cards, or team problem solving. They can also be used in a building thinking classroom. There are three types of questions which are marked in the bottom right corner with a snap cube. One snap cube is a type one (mild) question – subtracting whole numbers mixed regrouping, two snap cubes is a type two (medium) question – subtracting decimals with some whole numbers mixed regrouping, and three snap cubes is a type three (spicy) question – subtracting one step and multi-step word problems. There are so many options to use them with. There is a free game board located in my store, Sprout & Thrive.
