Welcome to Pacific Street Playschool! I'm Alyssa, a pre-k teacher with a passion for meaningful and purposeful play and learning experiences that allow students to learn about the world around them! At 3,4,and 5 children are naturally curious, fun, and ready to dive deep into fun hands-on explorations. In my classroom, students learn through meaningful and purposeful play, small group, and large group instruction. My job is to provide students with provocations that stimulate their minds, encourage them to question the world around them, and are multi-disciplinary. Within our play, early literacy and numeracy skills, as well as social emotional support and guidance, are at the center of everything we do ❤️ I have been an early childhood educator since 2012 and have spent most of my time teaching Universal Pre-k here in New York. I love creating resources and products that are useful in my own classroom and can be enjoyed by educators and students all over!
