• Distribuez une carte à chaque élève et faites-les se déplacer dans la salle pour trouver son équivalent.

Ces cartes peuvent être utilisées avec n'importe quelle langue - car ce ne sont que des illustrations et des chiffres.

Il suffit d'imprimer, de plastifier et de l'utiliser comme centre de mathématiques, comme introduction à la valeur de position, comme activité kinesthésique pour les faire bouger ou pour laisser avec un enseignant suppléant!

These cut and paste worksheets will help your beginner French students learn the days of the week and the months. Great for core French and immersion schools!

How to use these worksheets:

One worksheet is included for the days of the week and the 12 months are on two sheets. Have your students cut off the bottom part of the worksheet where indicated with scissors. Then have them cut out the days and months. Now they're ready to paste the days and months in the right spot on the paper. They should put the days and months in chronological order.

Next to each numbered space there are lines where students write out the days and months to help with spelling. When they've finished they'll enjoy coloring the numbers and the little black and white image at the top of the page. This activity is included in my French months and days bundle. Looking for a quick, easy and fun no-prep game to use when teaching present tense être with and without negation? This is a one-page dots & boxes game that will engage your students with a lot of exposure to reading, spelling, conjugating, and pronunciation.

This game can be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools. The bundle will save you 50%!

How to play (written on the game page in English): Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the verbs on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.

This French passé composé reflexive verbs worksheet is a no prep printable that you can use to have your students putting words in the correct order to form grammatically sound sentences using reflexive verbs in the passé composé. 10 sentences are written in the passé composé, and some include negation. The vocabulary used in this exercise is varied and doesn't follow a particular theme. It's not meant to be super easy, and this exercise is not a repeat of the present tense version. Answer key is included.

Les Loisirs - French 20 questions game - No prep speaking activity

The game of 20 questions is a fun and effective way to practice forming French questions. This version of the game focuses on 52 nouns and verbs which are all about the les loisirs / hobbies / pastimes.

This game work for any level as it is written in French and English. Want a real challenge for your upper levels or immersion students? Use the French only version!

Included:

1 version with vocabulary written in French and English

1 version with vocabulary written in French only

Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity.

This game includes 52 words. Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they've played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version. You could also photocopy a two sided version, one with English and French and the other with French only.

One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT

Alternative game play:

To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.

These word search worksheets will help your beginner French students of all ages learn the days of the week and the months. Great for core French, immersion schools, and even beginner secondary students!

This resource includes a worksheet with a blank grid for students to create their own word search. All of the days and months are written on the sheet. When they've finished making it they can exchange with another student and solve each solve the puzzle made by their classmate. 3 ready-made word searches are included. You can choose which one to give your students as each one is of a different level of difficulty. I like to print the ready-made search that I want to use on one side of a paper, and print the make your own version on the other side. I have used this resource with 8 year old students as well as 14 years olds. Please note that due to the nature of the word search I have not included accents in this resource. Looking for a fun, engaging, no prep way for your students to practice conjugating 35 common regular French ER verbs in the present tense? They're really going to enjoy making verb chains! This is a great literacy center or independent work activity. They'll love hanging them up around the classroom! • Each verb page has ten strips to cut out.
• The first strip is for the student's name.

La Famille - French 20 questions game - No prep speaking activity

The game of 20 questions is a fun and effective way to practice forming French questions. This version of the game focuses on 52 nouns and verbs which are all about the family / la famille. This resource is included in my la famille et les amis bundle.

This game work for any level as it is written in French and English. Want a real challenge for your upper levels or immersion students? Use the French only version!

Included:

1 version with vocabulary written in French and English

1 version with vocabulary written in French only

Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity.

This game includes 52 words. Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they've played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version.

One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT

Alternative game play:

To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.

Looking for a quick, easy and fun no-prep game to use when teaching present tense avoir with and without negation? This is a one-page dots & boxes game that will engage your students with a lot of exposure to reading, spelling, conjugating, and pronunciation. The bundle will save you 50%!

This game can be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or played on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools.

How to play (written on the game page in English): Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the verbs on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.

Dots and Boxes Game - Counting to 60 - French or ANY language - No prep printable

An easy and fun no-prep game that will elicit a lot of exposure and pronunciation for the counting to 60 (just what you need to be able to tell time) in FRENCH or ANY LANGUAGE!
