Do your AP French students need practice reading non-fiction in order to prepare for the test? Are you looking for interesting reading activities that can be done as class readings, independent reading, or free voluntary reading? Are you doing plenty of fun stories in your CI-driven French class, but you'd like to expose students to some less-common vocabulary or non-fiction readings? These readings are perfect for your intermediate and advanced French classes, levels 2 (with scaffolding) and up (more independently).

This bundle includes ALL of the intermediate and advanced French readings from the store. The price will go up as new items are added, but once you purchase you'll receive all of the new readings for free!

Most are non-fiction, but there are a few fiction stories mixed in. Science, culture, biographies, current events, cultural readings - a little bit of everything in one place! There are currently 118 different readings - enough to keep your students busy for the entire year. As new readings are added to the store, they will be added to this bundle as well.

A set of French reading comprehension units with readings and activities about French cultural topics.

Each unit deals with a different aspect of French culture. Students will learn about the French school system, how the Métro works, the role of sports in France, French cuisine, how French housing looks and how people find a place to live and more!

The units include readings (some in both French and English, see the product description for each one) and activities that have students doing real-world tasks. Some of the units have colorful vocabulary posters that you can project digitally or print out for decorations.

We all know how students get excited on holidays: Christmas, Valentine's, Halloween, and Thanksgiving! Through these activities, not only will they have fun working together or individually to solve the puzzles, but they will also have the opportunity to practice reading latitude and longitude coordinate grid systems (absolute location). Each moment is a teaching moment, and this holiday resource will allow reinforcement of their map reading skills.
