This resource is designed to help improve penmanship through the use of pangrams. A pangram is a sentence that uses all 26 letters of the alphabet. This tool includes:

This resource is versatile and can be tailored to the needs of individual students. It can be used in the classroom or at home for additional writing practice. This can be used as a reference or as a typing exercise to improve keyboarding skills. The use of pangrams adds an element of fun to the often tedious task of penmanship practice, keeping students engaged and motivated. Pangrams use all 26 letters of the alphabet and can be used to check letter formation or for a little extra penmanship practice. This resource includes 15 cards to be cut out in 2 different versions.

Creating a Student Success Guidebook (brochure project) gives students an opportunity to share their knowledge and tips for success in middle school with the following year’s new incoming class of students. This is perfect for a technology or leadership class, or for a club that focuses on assisting students, such as Student Council. Students work in small teams to research an assigned topic about expectations in middle school, specific to their school. Next, they create one page of a brochure with their information which will finally be combined with the other teams’ pages to create a full brochure that can be published and distributed to incoming students. The project was created for 8th graders but could easily be adapted to use with 5th or 6th graders leaving elementary school and providing tips for success to new elementary students, or could be used by sophomores (or above) in high school to create a success guide for incoming high school freshmen.

Great end of year project!!

This resource is a great starting of place for those that would like to incorporate coding into their STEAM/STEM or technology lessons.

This resource includes 5 different "stations" that could be done as a whole class activity, or more like traditional ELL and math learning centres.

There are two reading pages included to help students better understand binary coding and block coding.

The coding "challenge journal” has been tested with students in grades 4-7. Each task provided students with enough challenge that the tasks could be completed in two 40-50 minute periods. Students are asked reflective questions in each of the tasks.
