This is perfect for Black History Month as you are teaching young students about Martin Luther King Junior which includes a wide variety of activities including mini-booklets, writing prompts, and a craftivity that explains the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. in a very simplified way kids will understand. It is very important, yet it can be challenging to explain to students how things used to be long ago when there was segregation. These activities come in differentiated formats for you to best suit the needs of your students.

This Martin Luther King Jr. Product includes the following:

• A twelve-page mini-booklet that explains the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (black and white version and color version)
• "I Have A Dream" cut out handprint writing paper to put together a mini-booklet. (this comes with two different styled primary or secondary lines)
• Rainbow of friends poem and writing paper. (primary or secondary lines)
• Pathway to Freedom mazes (easy maze and a more challenging maze) an answer key is included
• "Let's Join Hands" writing puzzle pieces.
• MLK tree map-Was, Had, Wanted- (primary or secondary lines)
• If I could meet Martin Luther King Jr. -tree map writing (primary or secondary lines
• Martin Luther King Jr. Timeline-Cut and paste or self-correcting Easel activity
• Five different MLK poems and songs in both color and black and white
• Hands holding the world- Craftivity and writing prompt. (color version and black and white versions with differentiated writing paper.)
