The project is divided into fourteen sections, including the front pages. Sections include Language/Population, Habitat/Geography, Family Structure, Government, and several others. Each section has a list of criteria and questions that must be answered to complete the section.
I would expect a single student to take about ten weeks, with a weekly goal (perhaps a little faster) of completing one section.
There is a score for each section and teacher info on ways to make it work.
The project contains a cover sheet, a teacher's page, two student pages and a sheet to help students select an appropriate civilization.
There is also a list of civilizations that have an abundance of information available on line.

The first lesson is interactive and involves them cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to write four paragraphs. Then, in the final lesson your class will need to use the format provided to write an introduction for the text before checking their draft paragraphs for mistakes and writing up their work into a neat copy on the template provided.

Dr. Jane Goodall Binoculars Art Activity + The Watcher

Introducing the Dr. Jane Goodall Binoculars!
Unleash the spirit of exploration and environmental stewardship in your students with our specially crafted DIY binoculars kit, inspired by the legendary Dr. Jane Goodall. This activity is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for the wonders of the natural world.
Step 1: Gather Materials
Materials Needed:
Step 2: Decorate the Toilet Paper Rolls
Step 3: Connect the Toilet Paper Rolls
Step 4: Create Eyepieces
On one end of each toilet paper roll, make a small hole using a hole punch or by carefully poking it with scissors. Make sure the holes are aligned.
Step 5: Attach String
Cut a length of string or yarn, approximately 12-18 inches long. Thread one end through the hole in one toilet paper roll and tie a knot inside to secure it. Repeat with the other side.
Step 6: Decorate Further (Optional)
Step 7: Have Fun Exploring!

Encourage the kids to use their binoculars to observe and appreciate nature, just like Dr. Jane Goodall did in her pioneering work with chimpanzees. History & Economic Impact of the Great Depression - Research & Presentation

This unit connects learning with technology to Social Studies. This is perfect for technology class or for use in a Social Studies or History classroom that wants to incorporate technology with a lesson.
In this lesson, students create a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint (or Google Slides) from their choice of a topic from a provided list related to the Great Depression after researching that topic. They use the research information along with graphics, pictures and backgrounds from the Internet to create a finished presentation that explains their topic, and add their own opinions and insights to the project.
This is an excellent creative project to add to a unit on the Great Depression. The project was created for grades 7-8 but could easily be used with upper elementary or high school students.
This lesson is great for distance learning/remote learning. You can upload it to your school's learning management system (Google Classroom, Edmodo, Canvas, etc.) or share with students via Google Drive.

Deal Education - ASL and English Presidents' Day Research Report Template

This product includes a research report template. Students will answer the following questions: name of president, when the president was born, when the president died, how many years in office the president was, how many terms the president served, who the vice president was at the time the president was in office, two challenges the president faced, two accomplishments the president achieved, and three interesting facts that were learned. There is a section for students to print out a picture or draw a picture of the president. At the end of the template, there is a section for resources as well. Signs are provided for each question throughout the template.
There is an example provided at the end of the template as well that includes information about George Washington.
The students finished product could be made into a vertical poster (as seen in the thumbnail photo) and glue the black sections to the back of each page or cut the templates out and create a booklet.
