My students LOVE storyboards! They are a great resource for introducing basic story elements and summarizing, I use colorful file folders or large manila/construction paper. There are illustrations to color which are surrounded by dotted lines to make cutting easier. There are also interactive flaps for writing the beginning, middle and ending as well as places to write about the characters, setting and summary.
