Separation can cause a lot of stress for families and can also significantly impact upon children’s wellbeing.

The great news is that there are some child-centered approaches and strategies that can support parents to connect with and understand their children's needs during times of separation and transition. For example when your child heads off to Day Care, Kindergarten or School.

I know how crazy supply drop off/meet the teacher/open house can be for a teacher. Parents and students are coming and going, they want to talk to you, or they want to know what to do with their stuff, or where to find things. A few years ago I created stations to guide my parents and students around my room to drop off their supplies. Snack Drive Scratch Off Tickets and Parent Letter

This innovative bundle combines the excitement of scratch-off tickets with the practicality of a parent communication letter.

Snack Drive Scratch Off Tickets and Parent Letteris a great way to motivate parents to donate snacks to your classroom.

You can send the letter home (I usually send it every quarter or semester, depending on our supply of snacks) with a scratch-off ticket for the snack drive. The scratch-off ticket will reveal what snack they should donate.
