Dolch Sight Words for pre-primer, primer, first grade, second grade, and third grade

Engage your elementary school ELA students by using this sight word game to practice reading sight words. Ideas for differentiation and prompting are included to ensure the game is suitable for students of all academic levels. This game also includes five levels of word difficulty- from pre-primer to third grade level words. The sets of cards are notated with different colored inner borders so you can easily tell them apart.

Note: All sight words for each level are included, but the entire set will not fit in each game board as the boards only hold 24 cards. Before game play, decide which cards you want your students to use and make sure the cards in both boards and the word card piles match.

Students can use these cards to match two-, three-, and four-digit numbers with their base ten block representations, expanded form, and written form. Use the cards individually to create even more activities. For example, give students the three digit number card and have them build the number using actual base ten blocks. You can also give the students the clip art cards and have them write the three digit numbers or the numbers in expanded form. This scavenger hunt is a fun way for students to learn fun and interesting facts about Ukraine while bringing attention to the country & culture. Students can work together to complete the scavenger hunt bringing unity to the classroom. Activity pages at the end give students the opportunity to reflect and even express their emotions.

This resource does not directly address the current climate or war in Ukraine. This resource was designed to teach about the beauty of Ukraine and its rich culture. I have found many students have been flooded with information and images of the war from different media source. This gives students insight to what Ukraine was like before the war.

Este recurso es una herramienta educativa excepcional diseñada para estudiantes de primer grado que se encuentran en el proceso de aprendizaje de la lectura de la hora. El juego combina diversión y aprendizaje para reforzar la comprensión de las horas en punto y media.

1. Preparativos: Imprima una hoja de 'Veo, veo...' para cada estudiante o pareja participante, junto con las 24 horas diferentes, que incluyen las 12 horas en punto y las 12 horas y media. Para mayor durabilidad, lamínelas, lo que permitirá reutilizarlas en futuras ocasiones.

Boost number recognition, counting, and understanding number placement with these interactive hundred charts. This game includes ten charts spanning numbers 1 to 1000.

The ten charts are as follows:

1. 1 to 100
2. 101 to 200
3. 201 to 300
4. 301 to 400
5. 401 to 500
6. 501 to 600
7. 601 to 700
8. 701 to 800
9. 801 to 900
10. 901 to 1000

This game can be played using any of the hundred charts, and it accommodates 1 to 5 players or teams. Select the desired chart and the number of players before starting the game. You can switch between charts at any time.

How to Play: (2 to 5 players or teams)

The objective of the game is to be the first to guess 20 hidden numbers on the hundred chart or to have the most points (coins) when all the numbers are uncovered.

At the beginning of the game, as the teacher, cover as many numbers as you like (minimum of 20) by clicking once on each of them. Then, ask the first player or team to identify a missing number in one of the blank squares. If they guess correctly, they earn a coin by clicking on the piggy bank and mark the number as correct by clicking once on the blank square. If their guess is incorrect, click once more on that square to mark it as incorrect, and they do not receive any coins.

In both cases, the turn passes to the next player or team. Repeat the process with the next number. The first player or team to collect 20 coins wins.

How to Play: (1 player or team)

The rules are the same as mentioned above, but when a player or team guesses incorrectly, click on the hand icon. Instead of earning coins, they will "pay" by deducting a coin. The game ends when the player accumulates 20 coins or when they have "paid" 20 times. Try to improve your record each time you play.

Home, Go Back, Restart Game, and Exit

The four buttons located in the top-left corner have the following functions:

Home: Takes you to the first slide where you can select from the ten different hundred charts.

Go Back: Takes you to the slide where you can choose the number of players.

Restart Game: Restarts the game you are currently playing, including the selected chart and number of players. This erases all scores and uncovered numbers.

Exit: Ends the presentation.

How to Play:

1. Organize your students into up to 5 teams.
2. On slide number 3 (HOME), you'll find 25 banknotes ranging from $100 to $500. Clicking on any of them will lead you to a different question. Columns A, B, and C feature 2D shapes, while columns D and E showcase 3D shapes.

Example:

• If a team answers the $300 question correctly, click on the "+$300" button, and their score will automatically increase.
• If they answer incorrectly, click on "-$300" to deduct points.

As the game progresses, selected banknotes will disappear, preventing other teams from choosing the same question.

Exciting Learning Experience:

Upon answering, click on the girl at the bottom of the slide to reveal the correct shape name. For 2D shapes, additional interesting data, such as the number of sides, will be provided, while 3D shapes will include faces, edges, and vertices.

User Note:

Please be aware that this is a PPTM file, requiring enabling Macros for the scoreboard to function optimally. If you are not familiar with PPTM files, kindly refrain from purchasing this product.
