Make your own book template! Kids love writing their own stories. This is an easy to print document that students can put together themselves to make their own book. Working on vocabulary or spelling words? Have students copy them at the beginning of the book and then use them throughout the story. Students will write and wipe or use manipulative letters. Students will build letters using flower petals, tap out sounds with Mr. Frog, and slowly talk with Mr. Turtle. Materials - Picture cards, turtle

Directions - 

We will be talking very slowly like a turtle!  We call this turtle talk.  Look at the picture.  What is it?  Say the word slowly.  Tap out every sound you hear.  Write the letters on the card.  Use your turtle to walk and turtle talk the word you made!   

Flower Building

Use the letters on each flower to build words. Each set has 3 pages to provide appropriate support for your students. You will have one blank page, one with the medial sound written, and one with word families.

Print these fun bookmarks on colored or white cardstock and provide them to your students. The goal is to challenge the students to read and keep up with the number of books they read. Once they have finished a book, they are to color it to reflect they have finished the book.

You may also choose to laminate and them and have them use a permanent marker to cross out the emoji.

Getting out and exploring the colors and textures of fall is a great introduction to nature for all students! With our fall scavenger hunt have adventures in nature and have fun practicing counting to five and identifying colors.

This dinosaur file has two Power Points and you can also use them as flashcards to print. Students will be able to show prior knowledge using pictures and also learn about dinosaur facts they didn't already know with created sentences. You can also write these sentences on sentence strips to match to pictures. This is great for any Elementary classroom or ESL class. You can use many ESL strategies to teach these dinosaur facts. Readers Theatre Scripts

There are many out there to suit a whole range of different year levels and themes!

I’ve created these social and emotional learning readers theatre scripts for years 3-6, with each focusing on a different area.

The Kindness Crew 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of the Kindness Crew: Charlie, Grace and Emma, as they embark on a mission to teach Zog, an alien from Planet Meany, about the importance of kindness.

The Inner Voices

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet Emma and Liam, whose ‘inner champion’ and ‘inner critic’ accompany them for a day at school. Inner Champion offers positivity, encouragement and kindness… Whilst Inner Critic is negative, unhelpful and unkind.

The Emotion Busters 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of “The Emotion Busters”: Happy Harry, Sad Sally, Fearful Fred, Frustrated Fran and Angry Alex, as they drink a potion to suppress emotions they don’t like.

Resilient Riley 

In this Readers Theatre script, your students will meet the unique characters of Resilient Riley and Non Resilient Riley. Resilient Riley steps up to date to day challenges, however Non Resilient Riley runs away and ends up feeling even worse.
