They have a hard time knowing what is important about a topic or a book, and they need specific prompts to know what to write and where to write it.

Whether it's in person or online, your students will LOVE this coffee-themed summarizing activity and printables set. Using the SWBST visual prompt strategy, students will learn and practice summarizing a story (ANY story!) by stating the main character, what the character wanted, the problem, the solution, and the resolution. Ideas for differentiation are included to easily meet the needs of all of your students.

Students can use the printable or digital version of these fun conTEXT clue cards to infer how the character is feeling based on the conversation displayed on the phone-shaped cards.
