Professional Development: Addressing Behavior Issues

Within their tribes, teachers will discuss and develop strategies to de-escalate or address these issues effectively. Each tribe will select a representative to share their group’s approach with the other teams.

Over the course of the PD, teachers will engage in four additional scenario discussions, each designed to encourage collaboration and learning from one another’s experiences. By the end of the challenges, tribes will vote for the individual in their group who contributed the most creative or effective strategies. Winners from each tribe will receive a prize, adding a fun and competitive element to the session.
The Survivor theme is enhanced throughout the PD with integrated background music that plays automatically via embedded YouTube links on the slides, adding to the immersive experience.
