TIPS FOR STUDENTS – TeachShare DIGITAL ACTIVITIES
Note: TeachShare’s digital activities platform is still evolving, so some tools (such as the Pen) are tricky to use, and some features (such as zooming in) are not yet available. As such, when assigning our digital resources to students, consider sharing these tips that we found helpful:
1. Crosswords: It’s best to use the Text Tool to type the answers off to the side, and then drag them into the puzzle frame. To begin, press CAPS LOCK on your keyboard. Then,
• For words that go across: Use text size 14 and hit the space bar between letters (drag in)
• For words that go down: Use text size 10 and hit the Enter key after each letter (drag in)
2. Word Searches: Use the “thick” Highlight tool to mark words. Use different colors for words that go Across, Down and Diagonally. Words will be easier to see, and it’s more fun!
3. Match-ups, Mazes and Dot-To-Dots: Use the “thin” Pen tool – and don’t worry if the lines are a little wobbly.
4. Puzzles with Hidden Messages or Images: The colors described in the puzzle instructions may not match the ones available with your Pen and Highlight tools. You will be able to see what’s hidden even if the colors you use are a bit creative!
5. Have fun: Don’t worry if things look a little “off.” The main thing is to do the puzzles, learn some new things – and enjoy yourself!

3rd Grade Sight Word Bingo Dauber Sheets with Apples
By The Treasured Schoolhouse
It’s time to pick some apples, third grade sight word apples that is! All the kids need is a bingo dauber or dabber and they will dot the sight word that matches the sight word shown under the basket of apples. This activity is perfect to enrich a lesson on sight words or review and could be used for independent work or placed in a center for Fall/Autumn. These pages are no prep and low ink!
This contains the full set of 41 sight words for 3rd grade! Don’t have a bingo dauber? That’s fine, as the kids can use a crayon, colored pencil, or other available writing tools to mark off the matching sight word apples. These could also be placed in a clear sleeve in a center and the kids can place tokens on the matching sight word apples.

Digital Character Shift Chart Google Slides Group Work Any Novel |Writing Center
By Perfectly Planned Designs
You just stumbled upon an amazing character analysis resource that can be used with any novel or even short story! Students will be asked to track and analyze how the main character grows and changes throughout the literary text. Using "post-it's" students will determine character traits and then find evidence from the Beginning, the Middle and the End of the novel. Students will then Elaborate that evidence in their own words to connect how the evidence they chose truly reflects the character trait!
The best part is that students can work in pairs or small groups! This is a game-changer when teaching virtually and I have found that students look forward to working on these types of projects. I change partners and have students complete it for each novel we read! I would give them several class periods to complete this project, and I tend to assign it as a culminating activity...which can even replace an assessment!
This Digital Character Shift Chart for Group Work with any Novel includes one colorful graphic organizer and 18 color-coordinated and formatted post-it's specifically designed to reinforce character analysis and reading comprehension Feel free to print and laminate or share virtually through Google Classroom, Seesaw or Canvas! Assign individually , but pairs work best! Since it's a Google Slide you can always duplicate the main slide to however many groups you have and have ALL the students in your class work SIMULTANEOUSLY on the same document as you supervise! Only one document to have to open and grade!
I always post the three posters below as references but a character trait list is essential.
Character Traits Anchor Chart Posters
Transitions Anchor Chart Posters
Elaboration Stems Anchor Chart Posters
Feel free to use the detailed instructions below to post to your virtual students!
✅ Each student will be assigned a partner.
✅ Think about how the main character of the novel has grown and changed from the beginning of the novel until now. You will track his/her growth by analyzing the character traits at the beginning, middle, and end of the novel.
✅ Each group is responsible for finding 3 character traits for the beginning, 3 for the middle and 3 for the end.
Under EVIDENCE, ➡️ State the character trait ➡️ Quote evidence from the chapter or chapters indicated.
Under ELABORATION ➡️ Elaborate that quote IN 2-3 SENTENCES.
How does that quote convey how the character displays the trait you chose? Use vocabulary words whenever possible.
✅ I have completed the first post-it set as a sample.
***Note: This is the Jamboard Option of the same Character Shift Chart:

Catholic Alphabetical Order Sheets
By The Treasured Schoolhouse
This is a set of 12 no-prep worksheets to place different Catholic words in alphabetical order. Each worksheet has 6 to 14 words per page to place in alphabetical order.
Topics of the alphabetical order worksheets are….
• Sacraments
• Priest Vestments
• People of the Catholic Church
• Prayers of the Rosary
• Liturgical Seasons
• Books of the Old Testament
• Stations of the Cross
• Holy Days of Obligation
• Items Found in the Church
• Books of the New Testament
• Traditional Catholic Prayers
• Items Used During Mass
Another option to use these worksheets for is to place items in the proper order. The ones that could be done with this option is Stations of the Cross, Books of the Bible, Sacraments, and others.
NOTE: Some of the worksheets do NOT include every item in that topic. For example, not all the books of the Old or New Testament are included.
UPDATE: I found that "altar" was misspelled on a couple of the pages. I fixed that spelling error in the item, but it doesn't show in the preview.
UPDATE: (26 September 2018) Answer keys have been added for all sheets.
