This is a large pack of Lent words that can be used along with a lesson, a review, or anything to suit your needs for the season of Lent. The activities included are a word wall, worksheets, puzzles, and more for a variety of ages/grades. The words included are for the entire season of Lent inclusive of Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter, and others related to the season.

· Puzzles – 9 (decode, unscramble, word search, criss-cross, 2 rounders, 1 cryptogram)

These are Lorax-themed posters to add to an ELA Word Wall! If you are doing a Dr. Seuss-themed classroom, this would be a great addition!
This product includes a title poster for the ELA word wall, sections for different vocabulary words (which include: parts of speech, story elements, genres, figurative language, and testing vocabulary), and some vocabulary words for each section.
I included an image on the section posters (not the Lorax Clipart) that will have a matching picture on the vocabulary words to help stay organized. Also included are blank posters for each section so you can add more words to your wall, along with a completely blank section poster to create your own!

Deaf Education - ASL & English Past and Future Tense Verbs Workbook

In this product, students will learn the English verbs and signs for the 57 different past and future tense vocabulary words.
Students will learn the difference between the past and future tense vocabulary words presented along with their signs and will see how they are used in sentences. Pictures for each of the verbs are provided to help students understand their meanings.
In the first section of this product, students will be provided with a past and future tense verbs dictionary that includes a sentence using each verb, a picture that helps to explain each sentence that is provided, and the sign for each verb.
In the second section of this product, students will be provided with a sentence, a picture that explains each sentence provided, and the sign. Students will write each verb on the line provided.
In the third section of this product, students will use the past and future tense verb provided along with a picture and the sign that can help support a sentence. Students will make up a sentence for each present and fast tense verb.

In this product, students will learn the English vocabulary word for the 48 different noun vocabulary words presented using singular and plural nouns (adding -s).
Students will learn the difference between singular and plural nouns and will see how they are used in sentences. Pictures for each of the nouns are provided to help the students understand the meaning.
For each noun presented, students will unscramble the words and place them in English word order using the singular form of each noun, then students will unscramble the words and place them in English word order using the plural form of each noun, and finally students will be required to make up a sentence using each singular and plural norm of each noun presented.

Accountable Talk promotes student collaborative talk in the classroom. The Accountable Talk tools included in this product can help students actively engage in meaningful and respectful discussion with their peers. These Accountable Talk talking stems in the form of bookmark tabs, desk tags, and worksheet can greatly encourage students to speak in complete sentences as they participate in classroom talk. Accountable Talk tools like these can encourage academic, productive, active, and respectful conversations between students. These materials can provide students with varied opportunities to practice, apply, and build "new" language proficiency while increasing rigor in the classroom!

▶️ Accountable Talk Talking Stems:
These Accountable Talk Sentence Starter Talking Stem Bookmarks are tools that students can use to respectfully get themselves into conversations and to draw other people into the conversation. They come in two variations.
✅ Variation #1 - One Column Talking Stem that contains 5 talking/discussion areas: Agree, Disagree, Prompt, Clarify, and Add-On. This variation comes in four colors: Yellow, Pink, Blue, and B&W. Each color bookmark includes the same content.
✅ Variation #2 - Two Column Talking Stem that contains 10 talking/discussion areas: Agree, Disagree, Prompt, Clarify, Add-On, Explain, Evidence Comment, Question, and Summarize. This variation comes in four colors: Yellow, Pink, Blue, and B&W. Each color bookmark includes the same content.

▶️ Desk Tags (2 Variations, Same Content)
This resource includes two Accountable Talk Desk Tags. Same content in two variations. The Desk Tags are Accountable Talk “mini posters” that can be printed and nicely taped to the corner of students' desk so they can reference them all year long. They can refer to these tags for every activity, written and oral! There are two different designs - Colored and B&W.
▶️ Accountable Talk Sentence Starter Sheet
The Accountable Talk Sentence Starter Sheet includes discussion stems for 8 Accountable Talk categories: Agreeing, Disagreeing, Using Evidence, Adding On, Clarifying, Questioning, Predicting, and Inferring. Students can keep these sheets in their folders and have access to them where ever they go, especially at home. They can use these discussion starters in their writing and homework assignments as well!
▶️ Peer Evaluation Accountable Talk Discussion Rubric (EDITABLE)
This resource includes one Peer Evaluation Rubric in three variations - Same content. Editable versions are included, so you can modify in such a way that meets the needs of your students and instructional plans!
The Peer Evaluation Accountable Talk Discussion Rubric is meant for students to use and asses each other during Classroom Talk. Before beginning a discussion or debate, give each student a Peer Evaluation Rubric with another student’s name on it. (You can decide who will asses who, or you can just randomly write the names on Rubrics). Ask students to “secretly” observe and assess that student’s participation during the class discussion or debate. Students should not know who is assessing who so that evaluations of participation are fair. Throughout the discussion or debate, students will take meaningful notes of their classmates’ discourse/performances. At the end of the discussion or debate, give them 5 minutes to score the student whose name is on their Peer Evaluation Rubric. Finally, students can go up to the person they were observing and hand them the rubric. At the very end, the teacher collects the rubrics for review.
This has worked so well for me! Students were always “on their toes." Students found it so exciting to be observed by classmates and also observe others.
▶️ 2 Group Discussion Rubric/Reflection Sheets (EDITABLE)
This resource also includes two group discussion rubric/reflection sheets where you can either have students 1) evaluate the performance of the group during Accountable Talk/Group Discussions and/or 2) evaluate their own participation during group work/discussions.
