However, during this warm and bright season, it can also be a time of anxiety for children. Children in the upper elementary and middle school grades typically take standardized testing, which is mandated by the state. The months of April and May can actually be quite daunting for some students, which is why this spring yoga sequence is such a great addition to children’s routine. In teaching students yoga poses and breathing techniques, not only can they learn something new but they can also learn techniques that can help ease their stress and anxiety, especially when it may come to test taking.
