As the winter days wind down and the spring weather approaches, many come out of hibernation. The spring season is often a time for children to play outside, participate in outdoor sports, and just enjoy the feeling of being outside in the fresh air. However, during this warm and bright season, it can also be a time of anxiety for children. Children in the upper elementary and middle school grades typically take standardized testing, which is mandated by the state. The months of April and May can actually be quite daunting for some students, which is why this spring yoga sequence is such a great addition to children’s routine. These are Lorax-themed posters to add to an ELA Word Wall! If you are doing a Dr. Seuss-themed classroom, this would be a great addition!

This product includes a title poster for the ELA word wall, sections for different vocabulary words (which include: parts of speech, story elements, genres, figurative language, and testing vocabulary), and some vocabulary words for each section.

I included an image on the section posters (not the Lorax Clipart) that will have a matching picture on the vocabulary words to help stay organized. Also included are blank posters for each section so you can add more words to your wall, along with a completely blank section poster to create your own!

Anecdotal Behavior Data Collection Sheets and Descriptive Assessment

While some people think of anecdotal behavior documentation as more subjective than quantitative data collection, this is not necessarily the case. In fact, it is important to try to keep your anecdotal observations objective. These forms help you to document your notes on behavior incidents while leaving emotion out of it.

It is important that anecdotal behavior records document the topography of behavior, or what can be seen.
