French Talking about Jobs and Professions with Answers Lesson Worksheets

This is a worksheet/lesson (with answers) on jobs and professions in French. The resource can be used to introduce new knowledge or reinforce prior knowledge. It features a list of jobs categorised into cognates, near-cognates and non-cognates, numbers (1-20) and the verb “to be” in the present tense. The worksheet includes 10 varied exercises targeting reading and writing skills, such as translation, fill-in-the-blank, error correction and reading comprehension with multiple-choice questions and the final reflection. It includes brief and clear explanations on how to form plurals in French, the sentence structure differences in English and French and what a cognate is. In the listing, you can see the preview of the first 2 pages.

The slideshow includes new vocabulary as well as a video students can watch independently to learn some new words and phrases. The video is 3:41 minutes and a simple reading of the slideshow. Homeschoolers who do not have a French speaking teacher can also make use of this.
This is the perfect plan for substitutes. No prep at all for the presentation is required. Included activities require VERY LITTLE prep (print, cut, a little glue).
