This resource contains five inference skills passages exploring scenarios relevant to teenage life. Each passage is followed by three inference questions, requiring the student to use their understanding of the passage to deduce why something has happened or why a character may be feeling a certain way. Each passage comes with an answer key detailing what the students should have understood from the text and explaining how the inferences were made. Through these passages, students will strengthen their ability to infer beyond what they are explicitly told, enhancing their comprehension skills while reading about topics they can relate to.
