Winter Functional Vocabulary Sight Word Unit Level 2 w/ Task Cards

Get your students ready to learn 20 Winter Sight Vocabulary Words! This fun activity will increase sight word and vocabulary recognition related to winter words. With Level 2, your students will read a winter word and choose the picture of that word out of 3 choices. There are additional differentiated levels available.
Winter Functional Vocabulary Sight Word Unit Level 2 provides direct instruction in familiarizing students with words associated with winter. These skills will assist your students in becoming more independent in their daily life. There are 20 total self-grading Google Slides activity cards where the student will read a winter related word. They will then choose the correct picture matching the word out of a choice of 3 pictures. If the student chooses the “correct” slides, they will see a "correct" slide and if it is incorrect, they will see a "try again" slide and they will have an opportunity to try again. There is also a Title Page, Ways To Use Page, and Congratulations page. Winter Functional Vocabulary Sight Word Unit Level 1 w/ Task Cards

Get your students ready to learn 20 Winter Words! With Level 1, your students will identify a picture of a winter item and match the same item out of 3 choices. The words are printed on the choices so they identify and pair the word with the picture.
Winter Functional Vocabulary Sight Word Unit Level 1 provides direct instruction in familiarizing students with words associated with winter. These skills will assist your students in becoming more independent in their daily life. There are 20 total self-grading Google Slides activity cards where the student will identify a winter related picture. They will then choose the correct word out of a choice of 3 words. If the student chooses the “correct” slides, they will see a "correct" slide and if it is incorrect, they will see a "try again" slide and they will have an opportunity to try again. There is also a Title Page, Ways To Use Page, and Congratulations page. Additionally, 20 Total Offline, Interactive, self-grading activity cards in .pdf format, 40 Task Cards (20 Color, 20 B&W), 20 Sight Words and Pictures and 3 Editable Congratulations Certificates are included.
BONUS: A digital EASEL activity is included with AUDIO to support struggling readers.

✤The Google Slides activity is BEST assigned/presented in PRESENT mode, as this allows the students to self-check their answer and keep practicing until they get it correct!

✤ To Print Task Cards: The Task Cards, as downloaded, are 1/2 page which are great for students that need a larger size. To print 4x6 index card sized task cards, select "2 pages per sheet". To print 3x5 index card sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.
