No hay mejor forma para aprender vocabulario que escribir las palabras tras fijarte minuciósamente en como se escriben.

Tus estudiantes tendrán que buscar con una lupa las palabras diminutas de la semana de HMH ocultas en los dibujos de animales, y las escribirlas en la propia ficha de trabajo. Finalmente podrán escribir una oración utilizando una o varias de las palabras de la semana y colorear el dibujo los que gusten o hayan terminado pronto.

Diferenciación:

Para niños con mayor dificultad a la hora de escribir las palabras escondidas, existe este otro producto donde tan sólo se les requerirá trazar las palabras ya escritas con letra de puntos.

Students will practice vocabulary words by rolling a physical or digital dice using the provided qr code, and then reading the matching nonsense word, and coloring the box using the correct matching color.

What's Included

10 Roll and Read Boards with colors in spanish

editable template to create your own

Directions

Materials Needed:

One of the 10 worksheets or the editable template where you add your own words
A regular six-sided die
Colors
Optional: A device with a QR code scanner (phone, tablet, etc.)

Rolling the Die:

Students roll a six-sided die to determine which color word they read in Spanish.
Students can also scan the QR code on the worksheet using a device with a QR code scanner to access a virtual dice roller.

Reading the Word:

Students match the number rolled with the corresponding color word on their worksheet.
Students read aloud the color in Spanish to practice pronunciation.

Marking Progress:

Once students read a word, they should shade in color the box using the color that matches the Spanish word read.
If students roll a number they have already completed, they should roll again until they land on a new word.
Students continue rolling and reading until they have completed all the words on their worksheet.

This activity is a great way to have your students create their own bingo cards and then to play with them. It comes with many versions depending on your Core French groups.

Two versions, one with instructions in English and one with instructions in French, which prompt your students to color, cut and paste to create their bingo card.

French months and days cut and paste activity - Les jours et les mois

These cut and paste worksheets will help your beginner French students learn the days of the week and the months. Great for core French and immersion schools!

How to use these worksheets:

One worksheet is included for the days of the week and the 12 months are on two sheets. Have your students cut off the bottom part of the worksheet where indicated with scissors. Then have them cut out the days and months. Now they're ready to paste the days and months in the right spot on the paper. They should put the days and months in chronological order.

Next to each numbered space there are lines where students write out the days and months to help with spelling. When they've finished they'll enjoy coloring the numbers and the little black and white image at the top of the page. This activity is included in my French months and days bundle. Spanish months and days cut and paste activity - Los días y los meses

These cut and paste worksheets will help your primary students and beginner Spanish students learn the days of the week and the months.

This activity is included in my Spanish months and days bundle.

One worksheet is included for the days of the week and the 12 months are on two sheets. Have your students cut off the bottom part of the worksheet where indicated with scissors. Then have them cut out the days and months. Now they're ready to paste the days and months in the right spot on the paper. They should put the days and months in chronological order. Next to each numbered space there are lines where students write out the days and months to help with spelling. When they've finished they'll enjoy coloring the numbers and the little black and white image at the top of the page. See the preview for a closer look!

These word search worksheets will help your beginner French students of all ages learn the days of the week and the months. Great for core French, immersion schools, and even beginner secondary students!

This resource includes a worksheet with a blank grid for students to create their own word search. All of the days and months are written on the sheet. When they've finished making it they can exchange with another student and solve each solve the puzzle made by their classmate. 3 ready-made word searches are included. You can choose which one to give your students as each one is of a different level of difficulty. I like to print the ready-made search that I want to use on one side of a paper, and print the make your own version on the other side. I have used this resource with 8 year old students as well as 14 years olds. Please note that due to the nature of the word search I have not included accents in this resource. This resource is included in my French months and days bundle.

Spanish months, days, and seasons game - Tengo, ¿Quién tiene...?

✮ Spanish months, days, and seasons game - Tengo, ¿Quién tiene...? ✮

This version includes 27 cards. Depending on class size you could either give each student more than one card or have them play with a partner. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again.

Here's how this game works. Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says Empiezo el juego begins the game. He says, for example, Empiezo el juego. Tengo mayo. ¿Quien tiene el otoño? The person who has the card with otoño on it says, Tengo el otoño. ¿Quien tiene jueves? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, El juego ha terminado!

Another idea is to prepare two sets of cards, divide your class into two groups and let each group have a go to see which team can get through the entire deck of cards the fastest. It's a lot of fun, and though you can play with younger students the older ones love this game just as much.

J'ai...Qui a...? French Numbers 0 - 30 - I have...Who has?

This game includes 31 cards. Depending on class size you could either give each student more than one card or have them play with a partner. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again. Two sets are included. The first set is for beginners. It has clues in which the numbers are written in alphabetical and numerical form. The second set only has the numbers written in numerical form. You can get the Spanish version here.

Here's how this game works. Once each student has a card (or cards), the one who has the card that says J'ai la première carte. Je commence, begins the game. He says, for example, Je commence. J'ai seize, qui a zéro? The person who has the card with zéro on it says, J'ai zéro. Qui a douze? And so the game goes on until the last card is called and that student's card will say, J'ai quinze, C'est fini!
