This Fall Pumpkin-Themed Errorless File Folder Game is designed for early learners and special education classrooms, offering an engaging, no-fail learning experience. 2. Add Velcro: Attach Velcro dots to the back of the colorful pumpkins and on the worksheet. For worksheets with gray dots, place the Velcro over these dots to guide students on where to attach the pumpkins.
3. Organize: Set up the worksheets in a file folder and store the detachable pumpkins in a clear pouch or pocket for easy access and storage.
4. Use: Introduce the activity by guiding students to detach and reattach the pumpkins, explaining that there is no wrong way to complete the task. Whether used for independent work or as part of a group activity, this file folder game promotes success and engagement.

This resource is ideal for special education teachers, therapists, or parents seeking a structured, error-free activity that supports early learners in building essential skills through hands-on, interactive play.

Where is the black cat? This pumpkin themed sight word game is great for students who are practicing sight word recognition and beginning reading skills. This game can be used in a pocket chart or on a table top for an early education classroom.

What is Included:

• Sight word cards for the 10 sight words listed.
• black cat cards for hiding

The cards are available in two formats, 6 to a page and 4 to a page to accommodate different sized pocket charts. (6 to a page coming soon)

How to Play:

Where's the Black Cat is a game for centers or whole group instruction where a cat is hidden behind a pumpkin. A poem is chanted where the student(s) must say the sight word they think the cat is behind. Once guessed, the sight word is removed. If the cat is behind the pumpkin, then the cat must be hidden again to play further. If the cat is not behind the pumpkin, then the poem is chanted again with a new sight word.

This product contains 10 Sight Words:

a, and, I, is, me, my, of, the, to, you

This is an awesome math activity that is Common Core aligned with kindergarten and first grade standards (K.OA.A.5 and 1.OA.C.6). There are 4 different pages for each number for adding 0. I use this in guided math groups. As the students successfully add by a given number then they move up to the next number. The students love this activity!
