Use these weekly thematic word work units to introduce new words and practice spelling, handwriting, sentence building, and drawing. Each week features a different themed picture or pictures, six vocabulary words to learn, and five days of quick, fun activities using those words. Daily activities are numbered to keep the student on track and are quick enough to be used as morning work or in a literacy center. All units include five weeks of vocabulary work so that in months with four weeks you can choose the themes that best fit your classroom. Also included: black and white versions of all five weeks for easier printing. This download is for the full color version of the Apple Orchard week in the September unit.
