Early readers will learn to recognize unfamiliar words by matching them to familiar images. These printable cards can also be used to teach vocabulary, or for sorting by category. Lower Elementary children can work independently and check their own work by flipping over the image card to reveal the correct matching word. Try this product as a centers activity, a Montessori work, or in a homeschool setting.

Present Tense Verbs + Community Helpers - Speech Therapy - No Prep - Task Cards

This resource serves as a start-to-finish way to teach speech language therapy students or English language learners the correct form of present tense verbs. The use of community helpers naturally elicits present tense verbs, while also providing opportunity for vocabulary development. Start by producing short sentences with community helper flashcards, then advance skills by using fill-in-the-blank sentence worksheets, sentence writing worksheets, and reading comprehension worksheets.

Task Cards/Flash Cards can be used to drill correct use of present tense verbs in sentences. They can also be used as memory games or paired with motivating board games. Singular and plural subjects are pictured in both color and black-and-white. Task cards include both picture-only and picture-and-word formats to adapt to your lesson. Community helpers include:
Sentence Frames for all sentence structures including present tense verbs.
